Here are some foods you should avoid during pregnancy:

Raw meat/sushi and undercooked

This food is risky because it contains Toxoplasmosis, a parasite that can cause serious infections in your fetus and also E. coli, a bacterium that is harmful to pregnant women and the fetus.

Vegetables that are not washed properly

It is feared that vegetables that are not washed still contain harmful substances leftover from pesticides intended for plant fertility. For that, clean your vegetables well, especially for salads or vegetables that are eaten raw.

Cooked eggs are not cooked or raw,

avoid eating chicken liver/meat which may be a source of salmonella, which can cause severe diarrhea in pregnant women. Also note the dishes, cooking utensils that are exposed to raw chicken meat to be washed.

Tuna steak, sea bass, shark, or large fish that are known to contain high levels of mercury which can cause nerve damage if eaten in large quantities.

Soft cheeses such as brie and camembert, blue-veined cheese as well as cheese from goat and sheep milk, milk that is not pasteurized.

All of these products carry the risk of carrying listeria. Listeria is a type of bacteria that can penetrate the placenta and cause fetal infection. Usually, there are no symptoms or even if there will be like the flu. Listeria can cause miscarriage, premature birth, and poisoning in the blood.
